Leslie Ishii is being awarded the “Teachers Making A Difference Award” at the annual Cherry Blossom Festival.  Honorees are recognized for their exceptional work in the education field.  Educators come from different geographic areas  in Southern California and include honorees from  elementary schools, college & universites, private schools and performing arts schools to name a few.  Leslie has gone the “extra mile” for many a student in EWP’s Actors Conservatory and is highly regarded by her students,  teaching and mentoring many of them throughout the year.  The ceremony will be held during Cherry Blossom Festival in Little Tokyo on Saturday, April 10 at 12:30 pm.
